ABOUT
Jacobo Martínez was born in A Coruña (Galicia) in 1978. He carried out his training in the IEPA (Institute of Specialists in Audiovisual Journalism). He began his career as a DOP in 2003 in Galicia. He later relocated to Madrid in 2006 where he has photographed some of the most important Spanish television series, films, videoclips and advertisements, as well as participating in international projects such as a coproduction with the BBC. He has worked together with some of the most important directors in Spain such as Alberto Rodríguez, Antonio Hernández, Carlos Sedes, David Pinillos and Félix Viscarret, among others. He has been nominated on four ocassions by the Spanish Academy and has gone on to win one award. His strong commitment to the production and flexibility are two of his greatest strengths.
